We have just returned from the Junior National Hereford Expo in Grand Island, Nebraska. For those of you not in the cattle industry you're probably wondering what I am talking about. Well the JNHE is an annual event that allows youth from all over the country to showcase their Hereford cattle in the show ring and to compete in many other activities. It's fun to go back now and watch all of my nieces and nephews and to see old friends. I can't wait until our boys can start showing. Actually, all I have been hearing all week is, "I want to go to the cow show!", from my 2 year old. I'll take that as proof that he had a good time.
Your probably asking what all of this has to do with jewelry. Well, it goes back to one of the very first items I stated carrying; a custom designed Hereford pendant.
